A gold globe in the lobby of the Oxford Hotel in Denver, CO.
Apologies for my radio silence last week! It was Halloween and after a weekend away, time got away from me and work was packed, too.
Last weekend I spent a few days in Denver, Colorado and it was lovely. I saw a lot of cool things and learned a lot about the history of the city. I’ll be writing more about that in the upcoming weeks.
But given that I have no upcoming travel plans now, I started to day dream about future trips that I’ll take – likely in 2019. If you’re an avid traveler like me, you’re probably doing the same as we’re now in the last quarter of 2018. Here are the trips I’m thinking about taking next year:
- Reykjavik, Iceland (6/5 – 6/9): I moved my hostel reservation to the first week in June after I had to cancel it in September.
- Israel via Birthright (3/14 – 3/24): This isn’t confirmed yet, but I’ve at least applied for this trip and made a small (!) deposit for it. Hopefully I’ll find out soon if it’s confirmed!
- Lisbon & Porto, Portugal: I’m thinking this might be a good trip to take next year. I think it’d be a more laid back trip than I’m used to. Can anyone confirm that about Portugal?
- Domestic Travel: I’m thinking a trip to Nashville and Memphis or one to Austin.
Knowing me, I’ll change my travel plans and go to Vancouver and Des Moines or something. But I love planning and planning travel is one of my favorite things to plan.
Let me know in the comments where you’re planning on traveling to soon!
