I was ready to write all about the cool shit I’ve found while wandering up and down Riverside Drive, but I wasn’t feeling entirely inspired. My neck is sore and it’s been a rough week. I’ll shut up about it soon enough but it’s still got me stressing out when I think about it too much.
But then I received another email about the annual Wanderlust 108 festival in New York City this weekend and since I had to cancel Reykjavik, I thought: Why not? What sounds better than a 5k followed by a yoga class followed by a meditation class followed by food?
During this insanely stressful time: Not a whole lot.
108, by the way, is a sacred number in the yoga world. It represents spiritual completion, hence why there are 108 beads on a mala.
So I splurged on the ticket that includes the 5K (a whole $55.08) and I’m looking forward to it.
If you’ve ever been, let me know what I should expect. It’s not a bad replacement for international wanderlust, if I don’t say so myself.
