I was recently thinking about the two times that I'd spent time in Amsterdam. The first time was when I was studying abroad for a summer in London in 2007 and the second was on a Contiki tour the following summer of 2008. Over the course of two trips, I have spent a total of 6 days in Amsterdam and I can say with confidence that it's one of the prettiest cities in the world with the nicest people. When you're 21, you're probably were going there because "marijuana is legal there" but then you realize that there are SO many other things to do.
