Would I be a good travel blogger if I didn't write a review of Iceland's first cat cafe? No, I wouldn't. When you need a break-in from going on group tours and from all the many museums in Reykjavik, you should get yourself to Bergstaðastræti Street over to Kattakaffihusid! Unlike a lot of the other cat cafes that I've been to while traveling, these adorable fluffs are all up for adoption. Upon entering the cafe, I was instantly drawn to the hot pink neon sign that said "Mja." It turns out ... VIEW POST

The Hype is Real: My Experience at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland
I'm going to tell y'all that the hype is real about the Blue Lagoon! Someone is going to yell at me for being basic but I don't care. I am SO GLAD I made the decision to head straight to the Blue Lagoon from Keflavik Airport last Thursday. I had originally planned to go on my way home on Sunday but when I went to buy my ticket about a week ahead of time, the good time slots were all taken so I switched my plans and decided to go directly from the airport when I landed. BEST. DECISION. EVER. I ... VIEW POST
5 Things You Don’t Want to Forget When You Go to Iceland in Summer!
At the end of my trip with my two bags in my authentic Icelandic Lopapeysa! Sorry for the extremely long title of this post, but I really wasn't sure how else to name it. This really is all about the things that you SERIOUSLY DO NOT want to forget to bring with you if you visit Iceland in the summer months! Side note: Iceland is an amazing and extremely different culture from that of the United States (for starters: it's super safe. They have an average of 2 homicides per year) and for that ... What I Packed For 5 Days in Iceland
Greetings, fellow travelers! (From my cat, Playbill, AND me!) I'm leaving in a couple of hours for Reykjavik! FINALLY! OMG. I never thought this day would end. I have my reservation at the Blue Lagoon already made for after I land tomorrow (with transportation from the airport and to my accommodation after!) and then I'm doing a tour of the Golden Circle on Friday which I've also already booked. I'm thinking I'll spend the rest of my time walking around Reykjavik, going to the cat cafe, ... VIEW POST
T-Minus One Week(ish) Until I Go To Reykjavik, Iceland!
Me in April, on my way to Memphis & Nashville I don't know if you remember but if you've been reading here long enough, you'll recall that I was supposed to go to Iceland last September. Long story short: I was selling my apartment and buying another one and there was a delay in that process so I had to rebook. And I rebooked for June. And it's almost June. Did I expect to be unemployed while going to Iceland? Nah. But it'll be OK. I wish I had booked a cheaper accommodation though, ... VIEW POST
Top 5 Things I Want to do in Reykjavik
I thought it would be appropriate to write about Iceland while it's 16* (F) in New York City. I was originally planning to take this trip over this last weekend but then I thought it might be smarter not to go at a time when the average high temperature is 32* (F) just to save on airfare. So, the new plan is to go in late August or early September, around Labor Day (for those Americans reading) when the temperature is slightly warmer - 50* (F). A few weeks back, though, I went through this ... VIEW POST
