Happy Friday! This post is inspired by my recent viewing of Spider-man: Far From Home. I can't remember anything about the plot, for the most part (all superhero movies blend together and are pretty much forgettable to me), but I do remember the bulk of it took place in Venice, Italy. Spoiler alert: Much of Venice gets destroyed by the villain, sadly. Although I didn't really like Italy when I was there in 2008 (I know, unpopular opinion!) but I remember that Venice was our first stop and ... VIEW POST

How To Kill Time When You Have a Layover in Rome, Italy
Recently one of my friends was in Rome and said she was going write a blog post called "What to Do in 24 Hours in Rome!" and I thought, "I should write that, too, since I don't want to spend more than 24 hours in Rome ever again." I know, this is a super unpopular opinion and I'm total fucking weirdo for having it. But the tl;dr: I didn't really like Italy when I visited in 2008. I also grew up with an art teacher in elementary school (Mr. M!) who loved Michelangelo and talked about the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in class all the time (he also loved Da Vinci's ... There's only so much wine, pasta, and gelato a girl can have before she passes out. And I'm not religious so if I had to go look at another church, I was going to lose my mind. Anyway, ... VIEW POST
