my IRL travel blog! I thought I should share some of my favorite travel blogs and vlogs that I follow on a weekly basis that might inspire you to travel or if you already travel, book a trip to somewhere that you'd never considered before. Blonde Chick Travels: This blog stopped being updated in 2016 but it has extensive tips and travel write ups from all over the world from the point of view of a 20-something from Florida. Wolter's World: I have no idea how this guy finances his travels ... VIEW POST

The Best Site For Packing Tips!
When I was thinking about what to pack for my two week trip to Scandinavia in 2015, I went straight to Google. I don't remember what exactly I googled but it was probably something like: "Packing list + Scandinavia + September." And lo and behold, I was guided to a site called Travel Fashion Girl, which I've since stumbled upon again since booking my trip to Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna. (I also used this packing list for Scandinavia - another site with a lot packing lists, but not nearly as ... VIEW POST
My Favorite Travel Apps
Whenever I travel, I always make sure that my iPhone is loaded with a bunch of travel apps. That screen shot above is how my Travel app folder currently looks, but it's a missing a few: Booking.com: I like to book my hotels and hostels at the last minute, so I always make sure to have this on my phone to get last minute deals. I used this in Helsinki to save me from an awful hotel. HotelsTonight: Same thing - you can sort by price and region and get great deals. Again, this saved my ass ... VIEW POST
New Year: New Destinations: 2018 Travel Goals
Happy holidays to all those who celebrate them and also, happy almost New Year! I'm not making any travel resolutions this year, per se, but I do have in mind some of the places to where I want to travel and my parents were lovely enough to buy me a couple of travel guides for those places. Yes, I still love my hard cover books, much to the detriment of my poor carry on luggage. Sorry, bags. But at least I'm starting to catch onto the fact that maybe these mini travel guides from Lonely ... VIEW POST
A Solo Traveler’s Guide to Eating in Dublin, Ireland
In summer 2017, I unexpectedly found myself on a solo trip in with four days in Dublin. I had a list of things I wanted to do, but I also unexpectedly ate some really delicious food. I'd never heard anyone rave about the food in Dublin so I expected to eat a lot of really unhealthy meat-based meals. I ate at Wuff, Two Pups Coffee (which I've already written about here), Elephant & Castle, Pichet (where the chefs had been nominated for Michelin stars), Crackbird, and PYGmalion. Wuff was a ... What I Ate In Poland (Krakow, Warsaw, & Gdansk)
my meal on my very first night in Krakow. The hostel had given me a map and told me where to go for pierogis. I guess I qualify as a millennial because I take photos of my food, both when I'm traveling and at home in New York City. It's fun. Sometimes food is pretty. I apologize for nothing. But when I travel I find that I take even more pictures of food because everything is different and unique. It also makes me super conscious that I live off of carbs for most meals because I'm doing so ... VIEW POST
